PRIMERA EDICIÓN 2015

CONVOCATORIA VISUAL

Convocamos a todos aquellos realizadores independientes provenientes de cualquier disciplina y trayectoria, nacionales y extranjeros a participar en la primera edición de CÓDEC 2015 en la Ciudad de México.

Es un Festival que sintetiza y articula códigos expresivos procedentes de diversos ámbitos visuales y sonoros, sobre todo, indaga en la creación de nuevas narrativas y formas del lenguaje audiovisual, con la intención de difundir y promover las artes de manera gratuita.

* La entrega de los trabajos se realizará a partir de la publicación de la presente convocatoria y termina el día 31 de Octubre del 2015.

BASES / INSCRIPCIÓN:

*Podrán participar con una o más piezas de vídeo cuya máxima duración sea de 15 minutos incluyendo los créditos.

*La categorías participantes son: Vídeo Arte,Vídeo Performance, Vídeo Experimental,Vídeo Poema, Vídeo Esculturas, Vídeo Danza, Vídeo Collage,Found Footage.

*El tema es libre.

*Se reciben trabajos a partir del año 2014 en adelante.

*Solo se aceptarán vídeos en formatos .AVI .MOV

*Todos los participantes deberán de enviar un enlace de descarga en el formato de exhibición digital por medio de Vimeo, WeTransfer,yousendit.com, entre otros al siguiente correo:

*Enviar la siguiente información en documento Word o PDF.

*Los autores se responsabilizan de los derechos de las obras.

*La selección de los vídeos será por parte del equipo de CÓDEC, misma que será publicada al cierre de la convocatoria.

*Los seleccionados serán notificados por correo electrónico y redes sociales.

*Ningún material será devuelto.

*CÓDEC podrá exhibir fragmentos de los vídeos seleccionados para sus distintas redes sociales.

*Se entregará reconocimiento a los artistas seleccionados y serán proyectados en eventos alternos al Festival. tanto en el Interior de la República y fuera de México.

///CÓDEC////Festival de Cine y Creaciones Sonoras es un festival sin fines de lucro por lo que los organizadores no se harán cargo de los gastos que pudieran generarse por la participación de los artistas.

FIRST EDITION

Open Call

We call on all independent filmmakers from all disciplines and experience, nationwide and internationally to participate in the first edition of CÓDEC 2015 in Mexico City.

It’s a festival that synthesizes and articulates expressive codes from various visual

and sound fields. It specifically explores the creation of new narratives and forms of audio-visual language with the intent to disseminate and to promote the liberal arts.

*The delivery of the work will be done after the publication of this call and it ends on OCTOBER 31 2015.

REGISTRATION:

*You may participate in one or more pieces of video with a maximum duration of 15 minutes, including the credits.

*The participating categories are: Video Art, Video Performance, Experimental Video, Video Poetry, Video Sculptures, Videodance, Video Collage, and Found Footage.

*Free theme selection.

* Projects from the year of 2014 and onwards may be received.

* Only AVI and MOV formats are accepted.

* All participants must send a download link in the format of digital display through Vimeo, WeTransfer, Yousendit.com, or among other links to the following email:

* The authors are responsible for the rights of their work.

* The selection of the videos will be made by the team of CÓDEC, which will be published at the end of the call.

*Those selected will be notified by email and through social networks.

* No material will be returned.

* CÓDEC may display the selected video fragments for their different social media sites.

* Recognition of the selected artists will be given and they will be screened at the festival’s exhibitions in both the interior of the Republic.

//CÓDEC// Festival of Film and Sound Creations is a non-profit festival so the organizers do not bear the costs there will be. The costs will be generated by the participation of the artists.
